We pray all of you are doing great and that you are being blessed.  Please mark your calendars for some of our Adoption and Fostercare Upcoming Events:

MOM'S COFFEE BREAK: this Thursday, February 23 at 7p. Location: La Madeleine's at Perkin's Rowe.  These get-togethers are geared towards women who have adopted, who are fostering, who are in the waiting process of adoption or fostering, or who have a heart for adoption or fostering. This is a time set aside later in the evening to meet and visit over coffee and/or dinner.  Each Coffee Break will have a different topic of discussion so that we can learn from each other and our unique experiences.  This particular night we will have Jenn Vidrine be our guest.  She is a beautiful young lady who aged out of the foster care system and now attending college.  She is a success story and we feel she can share some valuable insight to all of us especially how she feels that she never was adopted and did she ever dream of being adopted? If you have any questions, please email us at adoption@healingplacechurch.org
Looking forward to our time together!

FAMILY FELLOWSHIP: Our next Family Fellowship is planned for March 17.   We will send out more detailed information in weeks to follow.

TRAINING/EDUCATION:  We are thrilled to say our first training/education class was so well received!  Dr. Karyn Purvis is no doubt an expert in her field of helping parents succeed in their calling to foster and adopt.  We are scheduling our next training which will be Sunday March 18 from 4:30p-6:30p.  Childcare is provided.  We will be sending out more detailed information about the topic.

PLAYDATE: Our next Playdate is planned for April 12.  We will send out more detailed information of where and time.

ADOPTION WORKSHOP:  Our next Adoption Workshop is planned for April 15 at the 9a service.  The workshop will be from 8:15a-10:45a. Childcare is provided. This is a free workshop. What does God's Word say on adoption? Through our HPC Adoption Workshops you will receive a Biblical perspective on adoption along with valuable information on the domestic (private and foster care) and international adoption process.

If you are an HPC family that has adopted or you are fostering and are in need of something, please do not hesitate to contact me at ampoche@cox.net.  We at Healing Place Church want you to succeed at your calling to adopt and foster.  We know from experience :) that you may run into some times where you need support, a listening ear, prayer, etc..... we are here for you!  Please don't hesitate to contact us.

In Christ, Aimee' and Tommy
