FAMILY FELLOWSHIP: Our Family Fellowship was such a great day of fellowship with other families who have adopted or are fostering! We had lots of fun watching the children jump on the inflatable, play flag football, play ping pong, and laugh and giggle! It was great seeing all the new faces. We are excited that 7 new families joined us at the fellowship. We look forward to seeing all of you again!

 Thursday, April 26 at 7p. Location: La Madeleine's at Perkin's Rowe.  These get-togethers are geared towards women who have adopted, who are fostering, who are in the waiting process of adoption or fostering, or who have
a heart for adoption or fostering. This is a time set aside later in the evening to meet and visit over coffee and/or dinner.  Each Coffee Break will have a different topic of discussion so that we can learn from each other and our

ADOPTION  WORKSHOP:  Our next Adoption Workshop is planned for April 15 at the 9a service.  The workshop will be from 8:15a-10:45a. Childcare is provided. This is
a free workshop. What does God's Word say on adoption? Through our HPC Adoption Workshops you will receive a Biblical perspective on adoption along with
valuable information on the domestic (private and foster care) and international adoption process.

If you are an HPC family that has adopted or you are

We are excited to have the opportunity again this year to advocate for children right here in our community and around the world to be adopted at our His Heart for Orphans Adoption Ministry Booth!  HPC's Live the Dream Women's conference is next week!  We will have over 50 children we will be advocating for along with a Foster Care booth right next door!  They are are some pretty precious children.  If you are attending please stop by and tell us hello!

It is no secret that the adoption and fostering journey is an exciting time of our life but the wait can sometimes be unbearable with unforeseen roadblocks that can take a toll on couples.  On October 9th at 5pm we are having our first event called The Waiting Room.  This is a support group event/time set aside for families that are waiting for a prolonged period of time for their child they are pursuing to adopt or any challenges a family is facing during the process of fostering a child. This time will be a time of listening, encouraging, and praying for their children and family. Please feel free to come be encouraged and prayed for.

On June 18 we were blessed to hold a free Adoption Workshop.  We are thankful for the hearts of the people who attended this workshop the day before Father's Day!  What a great group of families!  

Our Adoption Workshops are a great place to begin if you are thinking and praying whether adoption is something God is calling you to do.  You will receive a biblical perspective of what God says about adoption along with lots of information about both the International and Domestic adoption process.  We address ways to afford the adoption costs along with providing you encouragement and support as you pray and walk out God's call!

We were so blessed to have Healing Place Church have Adoption Sunday on  May 22!  We were honored to be linked with organizations such as Mission of Mercy and Children's Cup!  The thread that connects each of us is the fatherless of the world.  One ministers to the child's needs through sponsorship, another brings hope to children from very hard places in this world, while another connects them to their forever family through adoption.  All glory goes to God and all are important in His eyes.

A big thanks to the HPC creative team for working so hard to bless us with a fresh new look!  Also, thanks to HPC pastors and staff that have supported us through the years as we set out to be a resource for adoption!  THANK YOU! 

Hello! As you may know HPC Servolution is April 16th - 21st. We, HHFO adoption ministry are excited to be a part of the Easter Eggstravaganza for Special Needs on Saturday April 16th. We will be focusing on the special needs children in the foster care system. Our hope is to not only embrace these specific children but to start forming relationships with their foster parents. We would love to have you join us for this year's Servolution!! If you are available and interested please email us at adoption@healingplacechurch.org so that we can get a list of volunteers. Also, there are two other foster care servolution events that are going to take place. If you are interested in the next two please sign up at church at the foster care table in the corridor of HPC Arena. Wednesday April 20 will be the Girls Group Home remodel/repair at 3p and Thursday April 21 HPC will serve lunch to the parish and regional workers at two locations. If you can do one of these servolution events that would be awesome!!

Hello everyone! Don’t forget this coming Thursday is our next Coffee Break!!! These get-togethers are geared towards Moms and Moms-to-be. This is a time set aside later in the evening to meet and visit over coffee. Usually we have a planned topic of discussion. Our topic of discussion for this first Coffee Break of the year is “What can we do this year to see more children adopted?” Let’s get together and brain-storm. Here are the details:
